Moorfields appointed Administrators over elderly care home in Northamptonshire

On 5 July 2013 Simon Thomas and Shelley Bullman of leading insolvency and restructuring firm, Moorfields Corporate Recovery LLP, were appointed joint administrators of specialist care home provider, Rising Meadows Limited.

Rising Meadow Limited operates the Meadows Care Home in the village of Yardley Gobion near Milton Keynes. The home specialises in the provision of care for up to 34 elderly residents.

Healthcare insolvency specialists, Moorfields Corporate Recovery, will continue to operate the business as usual and hope to sell the home on a going concern basis. Interested parties are invited to contact the joint administrators.

Simon Thomas, joint administrator at Moorfields Corporate Recovery, said: “Ongoing pressure on local authority fees are forcing many homes to close as they struggle to sustain ongoing care standards. In addition many homes are having difficulty funding costly renovations and maintenance. We hope to continue to trade the home whilst we look for a buyer. The care of the residents is our priority, so will take steps to ensure the quality and standards of care are maintained. We are committed to ensuring residents experience the minimum amount of disruption.”

Interested parties should contact Moorfields Corporate Recovery by email to info@moorfieldscr.com or 0207 186 1144.
