A buyer is being sought for Cotswolds-based hotels, The Grapevine and The Royalist, after their parent company, The Concept Hotel Group fell into administration.

Administrators from Moorfields Corporate Recovery LLP are continuing to trade the hotels in Stow on the Wold, until a buyer is found.

The 14-bedroom Royalist Hotel, on sale for £1.5m, is thought to be the oldest inn in England and includes a restaurant and gastropub. It is situated across the road from its 22-bedroom sister hotel The Grapevine, up for £1.75m.

Colliers International, the agent in charge of the sale said enquiries had been 'pouring in' for both properties since they were put on the market.
