Junior Associate - Preston Office

We have an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of a lively team in our Preston office. The ideal candidate will be someone who is looking for a varied and challenging role in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same.

Duties:

  • The work will primarily involve supporting Associates and Managers within the team on all types of case work, including all aspects of client compliance, setting up cases, preparing reports and statutory forms.
  • You will also be required to communicate with various stakeholders to obtain information and dealing with queries, including directors, creditors, accountants, HM Revenue and Customs and employees.
  • Reviewing company accounts and records to investigate transactions.
  • Managing statutory deadlines.
  • Maintaining electronic case records on electronic case management software.
  • Attending external marketing events as an advocate of the firm.
  • Moorfields is strongly committed to data security and all employees are expected to abide by our ISO accreditation and company policies.

Qualifications/skills:

  • Preferably A-Level educated or above with a strong academic track record.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Able to multi-task.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A team player who is able to also work on own initiative when required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • In addition to full in-house training, support will be provided to obtain further relevant qualifications as desired.
