Edward Ellis is a Director at Moorfields and a Chartered Accountant since 2008, with extensive experience in corporate restructuring and insolvency. JIEB-qualified since 2015, he brings a strong technical and commercial background to his role, specialising in property and complex restructuring assignments.
Prior to joining Moorfields, Edward spent seven years as an appointment-taking Restructuring Director at Mercer & Hole, following a role as Manager at Smith & Williamson and has spent time on secondment at GE Capital and Arbuthnot Commercial Finance. This combination of experience provides him with deep insight into both advisory and lender perspectives, enabling him to deliver pragmatic and commercially-focused solutions across a wide range of property and corporate matters.
He now works closely with Arron Kendall, leading the firm’s property services, managing complex portfolios, and overseeing property restructuring assignments to ensure optimal outcomes for lenders, investors, and stakeholders.
