Senior Associate

We have an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of a lively team in either our London or Preston office. The ideal candidate will be someone who is looking for a varied and challenging role in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same.

Duties:

  • The work will primarily involve supporting Senior Managers and Directors on all types of case work, including all aspects of client compliance, preparing reports and statutory forms.
  • Managing smaller cases with some complexities and ensuring all statutory and internal compliance aspects are adhered to in accordance with firm policy.
  • Implementing strategies for appointments and managing engagements from cradle to grave, demonstrating a commercial and strategic thinking to maximise returns for stakeholders.
  • You will also be required to communicate with various stakeholders and ensure the output on all engagements is in line with the firm’s high standards.
  • Maintaining electronic case records on electronic case management software.
  • Attending external marketing events as an advocate of the firm.

Qualifications/skills:

  • Preferably A-Level educated or above with strong academic track record.
  • Minimum three years’ experience. Relevant accountancy or insolvency qualification preferred.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Proactive approach and committed to delivering the highest possible service to clients.
  • Able to multi-task to deal with a variety of cases and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A team player who is able to also work on own initiative.
  • Can effectively delegate and promote the culture and values of the firm.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • In addition to full in-house training, support will be provided to obtain further relevant qualifications as desired.
